APPLIED LABELS™
Applied Labels ™ are custom-printed, durable, dishwasher-safe labels. You can apply them to almost any smooth, dry and clean surface. Avoid contaminating the adhesive by handling the label by the edges. Place the label and press very firmly, especially on the corners. Wait 24 hours before washing as bond strength builds with time.
Applied Labels™ are also laundry-safe. They provide an easy method of identifying fabric items without needing to iron or sew. The item must have a tag and two labels are required per item. Place the first label on the backside of the tag, adhesive side up. Align and place the second label over the top of the first label and tag, adhesive sides together. Press very firmly. This will sandwich the tag between the two labels. These labels are not intended for use on items without tags such as socks or "tagless" T-shirts. It is our pleasure to provide complimentary blank labels to use as backing.
SHOE SHIELDS™
Applied Labels™ can also be used in shoes. Apply the name label to the inside, flat heel area of the shoe and press firmly. Shoe labels take a real stomping, so we recommend covering the name label with our clear Shoe Shields™. Center the Shoe Shields™ label over the name label and press firmly.
BABY DATES™
Baby Dates ™ are mini, single-use date labels ideal for daily bottle dating. They are designed to remove easily and should be removed and discarded prior to washing the bottle. If the label gets wet or is washed, any residue can be easily removed by gently rubbing with your fingers.
BABY TAPES™ Baby Tapes™ are dishwasher-safe, color-coded tapes. For baby bottles, wrap the tape fully around a clean, dry bottle. Overlap the tape by at least 1/2 inch. Cut the tape and press firmly. Center and place your Applied Labels™ name label over the tape. Press firmly, especially on the corners.
ADDITIONAL TIPS & WARNINGS
Do not reposition any labels or tapes once applied, as the bond strength will be compromised. If you do not like the position, discard the label or tape and begin with fresh materials. These labels are not intended for use on baby bottle nipples or breast milk storage bags. A small amount of edge lift is possible, but always remove and replace any label that appears to be disbonding. This should be very rare. Inspect your labels and tapes periodically and always clean off any visible adhesive residues.

Q. Those labels stick so well. How do I get those labels off?
A. The labels can be removed but it takes very deliberate action. Work a corner free and then peel the label. To remove any adhesive residue, we recommend applying Goo Gone
to the surface. Let it sit for a minute. The residue will remove easily. Wash all bottles, sippies, utensils, etc. in the dishwasher before using.Q. What size are the labels?
A. The labels are 1.5 inches by 0.5 inch.
Q. How will the labels be shipped?

Q. What is the font size on the label?
A. Font size is dependent on the number of characters requested. We will maximize the name to the largest available font size.
Q. Can labels withstand sterilizing or cleaning with bottle brushes?
A. The labels will withstand steam and dishwasher sterilizing. Neither the label nor the adhesive will be affected. Brushing will not affect the labels.
Q. Can any detergent be used?
A. Our labels do not have any limitations on the use of detergents or bleach in either the washing machine or dishwasher.
Q. Are colored inks available?
A. We print in black because testing has shown that black ink on white labels provides the highest level of durability and the sharpest image. We do provide several very cute and elegant font options. To add color, the labels can be paired with Baby Tapes™, available in sixteen colors.
Q. For clothing, are blank backing labels available so I can make the best use of my printed labels?
A. Yes, we provide complimentary blank backers if requested when ordering.
Q. Can I just write the date on the name/date label instead of using Baby Dates™?
A. At first, we thought markers would work. We tested several markers for the date, but found them all fairly problematic. Permanent and dry-erase markers would not remove cleanly, leaving an ever-increasing stain. Wet-erase markers actually work well in perfectly dry conditions, but the ink disintegrates once the slightest amount of condensation forms. So, we came up with the ideal solution, Baby Dates™ - simple, quick, easily removable, and highly legible.
