After sending her first child to a child care center, Heather Clements saw a need for baby bottle labels that wouldn’t wash off the bottle after just a few washes. Her idea developed into Applied Labels™, the practical, dishwasher-safe bottle identification system that is used by child care centers and parents across the country and internationally.
In 2005, Clements launched Applied Labels LLC in Dallas with the help of her husband, Patrick. Soon after, she left her position as a senior chemical engineer to focus on Applied Labels LLC full-time. Clements has grown the company from its first flagship product to a full labeling system for parents and businesses.
